Inmarsat Swift is an aeronautical communications service that offers high quality data, voice, and fax at speeds up to 64 kbps. Users can choose Swift's Mobile ISDN service for quick transfer of large data files or Mobile Packet Data Service for bursty data applications such as Internet access and e-mail. Swift also provides high- and low-speed voice communications.

Mobile ISDN Service
Mobile ISDN is a dedicated Single Channel per Carrier (SCPC) service that enables high-speed data applications, such as access to crew e-mail, arrival gate and connection information, and graphical weather charts, contributing significantly to airline operations and in flight business communications.

Mobile Packet Data Service
Mobile Packet Data uses Internet Protocol (IP) technology and time-shared channels to allocate network resources allowing aeronautical users to stay on-line economically, with ready access to e-mail and the Internet.

Swift offers a dedicated Single Channel per Carrier (SCPC) service, which provides a cost effective voice-only service.
